• Top blockers: Hayley Thramer (1.13 blocks per set), Brooke Delano (0.94 bps), Broekhuis (0.89 bps), Jordan Wilberger (0.84 bps).
• Top diggers: Lara Dykstra (3.62 digs per set), Werth (3.07 dps), Lauren Cook (2.76 dps), Mancuso (2.67 dps).
• The setter: Cook (10.94 assists per set)
• Honor roll: Werth, Mancuso and Cook were all named first-team All-Big Ten with Broekhuis and Delano picking up honorable mention all-conference honors. Werth, a junior outside hitter, has come on strong lately, averaging 3.67 kps and 3.39 dps in NU's past five matches.
• Fast fact: Nebraska is undefeated at home this year and carries a 37-match winning streak at the NU Coliseum into this year's NCAA tournament.
JACKSON STATE
• Conference: Southwestern Athletic
• Records: 29-9; 8-0 (1st place) league
• Coach: Rose Washington (10th season)
• NCAA appearance: 1st
• The big hitters: Christine Edwards (4.21 kps), Chyna Coleman (2.97 kps), Donisha Dunn (1.92 kps)
• Top blockers: Paige Williams (1.26 bps), Kameron Boggan (0.98 bps), Dunn (0.74 bps)
• Top diggers: Daedra Carline (3.33 bps), Coleman (2.94 dps), LaToya Clark (2.16 dps), Edwards (1.99 dps)
• The setter: Clark (10.04 aps)
• Honor roll: Edwards, the lone junior in a senior-laden starting lineup, led the Lady Tigers in kills and was named MVP of the SWAC tournament in her first season after transferring from Maryland-Eastern Shore. Four of the Lady Tigers' starters were named first-team All-SWAC this season.
• Fast facts: Jackson State began the season 4-9 but has since won 25 matches in a row. The school, located in Jackson, Miss., is one of the country's most-decorated, historically African-American universities.
KANSAS STATE

• Records: 20-10; 9-7 (4th place) league
• Coach: Suzie Fritz (11th season)
• NCAA appearance: 13th
• The big hitters: Kaitlynn Pelger (4.12 kps), Lilla Porubek (3.39 kps), Kathleen Ludwig (2.25 kps)
• Top blockers: Alex Muff (1.09 bps), Taylor Johnson (1.09 bps), Pelger (1.02 bps), Ludwig (0.70 bps)
• Top diggers: Kuulei Kabalis (3.74 dps), Caitlyn Donahue (2.78 dps), Pelger (2.70 dps)
• The setter: Donahue (11.06 aps)
• Honor roll: Pelger, a sophomore from Olathe, Kan., was one of the top all-around players in the Big 12 this season. The first-team All-Big 12 pick ranked third in the league in kills and also cracked the top 10 in aces, blocks and points.
• Fun facts: The Huskers and Wildcats are no strangers to each other, being Big 12 rivals until just this season. Nebraska has a firm grasp on the all-time series, beating the Wildcats 80 times in 83 all-time matches. K-State has only advanced out of NCAA sub-regional play once in school history.
WICHITA STATE
• Conference: Missouri Valley
• Records: 21-10; 13-5 (3rd place) league
• Coach: Chris Lamb (12th season)
• NCAA appearance: 6th
• The big hitters: Emily Adney (3.49 kps), Camri Zwiesler (3.10 kps), Elizabeth Field (2.18 kps), Ashley Andrade (2.04 kps)
• Top blockers: Andrade (1.07 bps), Field (0.86 bps), Adney (0.67 bps)
• Top diggers: Sarah Waldorf (5.05 dps), Zwiesler (3.35 dps), Mary Elizabeth Hooper (2.06 dps)
• The setter: Hooper (10.48 aps)
• Honor roll: The Shockers boasted the most efficient offense in the Missouri Valley Conference during the regular season, hitting a conference-best .262. Adney, a junior from Golden, Colo., ranked second in the league with 3.49 kps. Field (.356) and Andrade (.354) were second and third, respectively, in attack percentage.
• Fast facts: This is the fifth straight year the Shockers have made the NCAA tournament only to run into a Big 12 opponent. Wichita State has had its season ended by a Big 12 foe each of the past four years, including a three-set loss to Nebraska in 2007.
