LINCOLN — A pair of Husker athletes, fullback Tyler Legate and middle blocker Jordan Wilberger, will join Gov. Dave Heineman for a 30-minute wellness walk through the capitol on Wednesday beginning at noon.
Nebraskans are invited to join in the walk, which begins in the second-floor rotunda, or replicate it in their own worksite or hometown. Brief remarks by the governor, the athletes and other wellness advocates, including State of Nebraska Chief Medical Officer Dr. Joann Schaefer, will precede the annual Governor & Workers Walk, which serves to promote the Live Healthy 100-Day Challenge.
