LINCOLN — The Husker Home Run Club’s preseason banquet is set for Feb. 3 at the Embassy Suites in La Vista.
The event includes dinner and remarks from new coach Darin Erstad and the NU coaching staff, while members of the team will also be present. The event begins with a silent auction at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 6:30 p.m.
The event’s keynote speaker will be former Husker and current Minnesota Twins pitcher Brian Duensing.
The cost of the banquet is $50 per person or $450 for a table of 10, and reservations are due Jan. 30.
