    Ex-Husker Pluhowski receives honors

    Former Husker Shannon Pluhowski has been named the World Women’s Bowler of the Year and was also elected to the World Bowling Writers Hall of Fame.

    Pluhowski is one of just three women to earn both honors in the same year.

    Also, former Husker All-American Jamie Martin (2006) was elected to the Omaha Bowling Hall of Fame and will be inducted on April 28.
