TV What to Watch: 'Moneyball' and celebrities' holiday homes

“Moneyball” 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. Encore (2011)

Brad Pitt stars as Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane, who successfully put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to acquire new players. Also starring Jonah Hill and Robin Wright.

“Kitchen Nightmares” 7 p.m., Fox (New)

Chef Ramsay visits a struggling restaurant called Barefoot Bob’s. We can only hope that going barefoot in the kitchen is not one of the eatery’s problems. Gross.

“Last Man Standing” 7 p.m., ABC (New)

Mike brings home a duck from a hunt, but Kristin objects to exposing her son to such violence. The boy then refuses to eat meat, prompting Mike to help his grandson understand the circle of life.

“Malibu Country” 7:30 p.m., ABC (New)

Reba tries to drum up dirt on Bobby from his former bandmate, but he won’t divulge any information until Lillie Mae brings out her home brew.

“CSI: NY” 8 p.m., CBS (New)

The owner of a 1920s-inspired speakeasy is murdered and $10,000 is stolen.

“Celebrity Holiday Homes” 8 p.m., HGTV (New)

The homes of Dee Snider, Cheryl Burke and BeBe Winans are decorated for the season by “HGTV Design Star” winners.

“Adrift: 47 Days with Sharks” 8 p.m., Animal Planet (New)

A tale of survival endured by U.S. soldiers in shark-infested waters.

“Blue Bloods” 9 p.m., CBS (New)

Linda overhears a shooting victim talking to his priest about a case Danny is investigating. Henry gets mugged and Jamie pursues the attacker.
